Warriors Record 13th Consecutive Sellout at Oracle Arena
Team’s Longest Sellout Streak Since Arena Capacity Was Expanded Prior To 1997-98 Season

The Golden State Warriors recorded their 13th consecutive sellout at Oracle Arena this evening, as the team played host to the Phoenix Suns before a capacity crowd of 19,596. The 13-straight sellouts marks the team’s longest sellout streak since the arena was renovated 15 years ago – prior to the 1997-98 campaign – and capacity was increased from 15,025 to 19,596.

Prior to the renovation and expansion of Oracle Arena, the Warriors sold out 301 consecutive games over the final seven-plus seasons that the team played in the formerly named Oakland Coliseum Arena – beginning in March 1989 and continuing through the entire 1995-96 campaign. The team then played all of its home games during the 1996-97 season in San Jose as Oracle Arena was renovated and expanded to its current configuration.

Overall this season, the Warriors have hosted 15 sellouts and are averaging 19,182 fans per game (sixth-most in NBA).
