Warriors To Host Second Filipino Heritage Night This Season, Presented By Cache Creek Casino Resort, Friday, March 7 Against Atlanta Hawks
Portion Of Event Proceeds Will Benefit Local Filipino Organizations In The Bay Area
The Golden State Warriors are hosting the second Filipino Heritage Night, presented by Cache Creek Casino Resort, of the 2013-14 season on Friday, March 7 against the Atlanta Hawks at Oracle Arena (7:30 p.m.), the team announced today. A portion of event night ticket sales will support local Filipino community organizations throughout the Bay Area.
Filipino Heritage Night festivities on Friday night include a halftime performance by the Likha Pilipino Folk Ensemble, as well as Filipino-themed cuisine available for purchase at Oracle Arena behind section 218. Fans who purchased a special event ticket will also receive a limited edition Filipino Heritage Night themed snapback hat, courtesy of Cache Creek Casino Resort. This will be the sixth consecutive season the Warriors will celebrate Filipino Heritage Night and the second Filipino Heritage Night the team will hold at Oracle Arena this season, the first event being held during the Warriors 102–88 win against the Utah Jazz on November 16, 2013.
