Warriors Announce 2004-05 Television And Radio Schedules

70 Games Televised By FSN Bay Area; KNBR To Carry Every Regular-Season Game

The Golden State Warriors today announced the club’s 2004-05 television and radio schedules. During the upcoming season, a total of 74 Warriors games will appear on television, while all 82 regular-season games can be heard over the airwaves on radio.

FSN Bay Area, the exclusive television home for Warriors games in Northern California, will televise a total of 70 regular-season games during the upcoming campaign - six more than last season and the most ever carried by the station. Seven of those contests will be televised on FSN Bay Area Plus. The Warriors local television docket will consist of 35 home games and 35 away contests. FSN Bay Area begins its 14th season of covering Warriors basketball on opening night, Wednesday, November 3, when Golden State hosts the Portland Trail Blazers.

In addition to the 70 games that are slated for telecast on FSN Bay Area, the Warriors are also scheduled to play four nationally televised contests, all of which are home games at The Arena in Oakland. ESPN2 will televise the Warriors game versus the Memphis Grizzlies on Wednesday, December 22, while ESPN will carry the meeting versus the Dallas Mavericks on Wednesday, March 23. TNT will air the Warriors home contests versus the Denver Nuggets on Monday, January 17 and versus the Sacramento Kings on St. Patrick’s Day, Thursday, March 17.

KNBR 680, The Sports Leader, and sister station KNBR 1050 will serve as the Warriors co-flagship radio stations, combining to broadcast all 82 regular-season contests. In its 28th season of broadcasting Warriors games, KNBR 680 will air 57 games during the upcoming campaign, while KNBR 1050 will have 25 contests. KNBR 1050 will air all weekday games that start at 6:30 p.m. pacific time or earlier, with all other games being carried by KNBR 680.
