The 2015 NBA Champion Golden State Warriors announced the opening of an official Warriors Team Store at the Westfield San Francisco Centre, it was announced today. The grand opening of the store will be held Saturday, May 21 at 10:00 a.m. with the latest Warriors retail items, including Western Conference Finals and additional 2016 NBA Playoffs merchandise available for purchase. The new 1,800 square foot store is located on the Westfield Centre's concourse level, adjacent to the underground Powell Street Bart (865 Market Street, San Francisco), and will be open from May 21 through June 30, Monday through Saturday from 10:00 a.m. – 8:30 p.m. and Sundays from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. to provide fans the latest Warriors apparel as they continue their 2016 NBA playoff run.
Based on overall sales from adidas and NBAStore.com for the 2015-16 regular season, guard Stephen Curry, who won his second straight NBA MVP trophy this season, ranked first in the league for the NBA’s most popular jersey with the Warriors ranking first in most popular team merchandise during that same period.
