Warriors Announce Summer League Roster

The Golden State Warriors announced today that the club’s 2003 draft picks, Mickael Pietrus and Derrick Zimmerman, will join second-year players Mike Dunleavy and Jiri Welsch as part of the team’s summer league squad at the Los Angeles Summer Pro League in Long Beach, CA. Warriors assistant coach Tom Sterner will coach the squad and will be assisted by newly-hired Golden State assistants Jim Boylen and David Fizdale.

The Warriors 2003 summer league entry is set to play seven games in eight days, beginning Wednesday, July 9 vs. the Los Angeles Lakers at 5:15 p.m. Each of the team’s first three games are scheduled to be televised on NBA TV, the NBA’s 24-hour cable television network (available on DIRECTV, DISH Network and certain digital cable packages).
