Don Nelson
On Tonight's Game
“First I have to congratulate Matt Barnes on tying the team record with seven 3-pointers. We had one of our best first halves of the season. We had a lot of open 3’s tonight and it is my philosophy that if a three-point shot is created by a teammate, then you have to take that shot. That was the case tonight, with almost all of our three-point opportunities tonight. The guys spaced out the floor extremely well, allowing us to only have to run a few plays. It was good to see that even with the big first half lead, the guys maintained pressure and ended the game with the 20 point victory.”
Baron Davis
On Matt Barnes
“It’s good, he was really focused and when he hit those first couple of threes he kind of extended the lead for us. It’s just good to get a win. Usually when you come back home from a long road trip you’re a little sluggish. We didn’t play real well tonight but we got a lot of it out last night at practice.”

“But Matt carried us tonight. He really wanted to prove to them that he could shoot it. He’s been shooting the ball really well for us and it’s nice to have guys out there who can shoot and finish plays.”

“He’s a lot better (shooter). As you mature and get better, you tend to become a better shooter. Coach Nellie is really giving him an opportunity to be that guy for us. So now we have two guys at the 4 who can handle it and shoot it.’

Matt Barnes
On Tonight's Game
“I had a lot of off time in Philly. I changed my shot, worked hard on it, and obviously it’s helped me out. Coach Nelson has confidence in me to shoot it, and that makes all the difference.”

“Just having the crowd behind us, helps us a lot. Yo0u don’t know how much home court advantage helps us, and I think we just need to put a whole 48 minutes together on the road and we’ll get some wins.”

Andris Biedrins
On Matt Barnes
“It’s really funny how he plays against his former teams. He was really awesome tonight. He lifted us and made a lot of three point shots and got the crowd going. But it really is funny how well he plays against his former teams.”

“I’m really happy for Matt. He really works hard on his game and now he has an opportunity. Coach Nelson has given him a chance and a lot of minutes, and he’s not letting him down. Not only on offense but he’s really playing well on defense.”

Mickael Pietrus
On Playing With A Mask On
“I’m kind of struggling with the mask right now, losing some vision when somebody cuts from behind. But we have two days with no games, so I’m really going to try on work on that and make sure that the mask works for me. But I’m very happy to get a win tonight.”

“Troy told me that it is pretty hard to wear the mask, but everything will be fine and it’s just a matter of time before I get healthy. I don’t have a lot of options, so it’s something I will have to get used to.”
