Warriors Win OT Thriller
Trailing by as many as 16 points in the fourth quarter, the Warriors mounted a furious comeback, forced overtime and wound up winning a 117-109 thriller in Sacramento on Tuesday. Golden State trailed by four points with just four seconds remaining in regulation, but were able to tie the game after Reggie Williams made and then missed a free throw, which was followed by a buzzer-beating, game-tying three-pointer by Vladimir Radmanovic. Monta Ellis helped carry the Warriors to victory, scoring nine points in overtime and finishing the game with 36 points and seven assists. Reggie Williams scored 24, while David Lee tallied 15 points and 12 rebounds. Radmanovic, meanwhile, scored 13 of his 15 points in the game-changing fourth quarter. The Warriors will now have three days off before hosting the Portland Trail Blazers on Christmas Night, a game that features a special Family & Friends Offer.

Keith Smart
On tonight's game:
“One thing I say. The way these teams have matched up up historically when they play each other, never mind what the teams’ records are, they play hard against each other. So many guys had big shots, but the big one was Vladimir (Radmanovic) made that big three-pointer to send the game into overtime. Also, his post defense and rebounding was really good. It was a great effort by our guys. I’ve said to you guys before, these guys always compete and play hard. We have some moments where things don’t go where we want it to go, a few moments in a game with turnovers here or bad shots there. They always compete and they always play hard and they get along well with each other. That is why they rallied around some of the guys that were struggling in this game tonight.”

On overcoming the deficit in the overtime:
“There is a lot of game in the overtime game. One important thing is to get the tip. David Lee said ‘I’m going to get it’ and he got the tip. We didn’t get rattled. You still have a lot of time in overtime. One thing you know is that teams are not going to push the ball in overtime. So you still have time even if you go down six points; eight to 10 and you can be in trouble. I think our guys held true and we were able to make a lot of plays, defensive stops. That is what I am trying to get them to understand. They are good offensive players, but if they can get it into their hearts how hard it is to be a good defensive team, rebounding and making stops when they are necessary, then you are going to have a chance to have fun down the road.”

On David Lee’s defense on DeMarcus Cousins down the stretch:
“You know, people say that a guy cannot defend it’s because a guy hasn’t tried and no one has told him that is what he has to do. That is what we communicate to him all the time. You can see that he has it in him to do it. We just have to make sure we stay on him. That’s what I have been saying to him and our staff has been saying to him. That’s a load. That young man Cousins, he’s a rookie, but when he figures it all out you are going to have to double team him.”

On tonight's game:
“I wasn’t happy with the job I did down the stretch on Scola last night. Like I told you, all you can do is just to keep plugging and make up your mistakes with hard work and fix it next time you go out there. I knew they were going to go to Cousins every time down the stretch. I was telling the guys ‘I don’t think I made it past half court once on offense.’ I was just grabbing all the defensive rebounds, finding Monta (Ellis) or Dorell (Wright), and just watching those guys run.”
