Keith Smart
On tonight's game:
Bottom line is we got a win. These guys have been playing good basketball for a segment of a few minutes here and there, and it managed to work out and we got a win. Now we move to the next team.

On Acie Law:
I told him during a timeout, Im not looking at you as a new player, weve had you here before so Im looking at you as if you were always with us. I have supreme confidence in you and youve done a good job with us last time here. He did a good job with managing the game getting a little bit more comfortable with what we are doing.

On Reggie Williams:
Its finally starting to sink in. I think with his teammates, not just for him, to know that this kid can play and he can score when he is aggressive and people are believing in him. I believe in him, some of the new players dont know him they know him from a game here or there. I think he is starting to understand that his teammates want him to do it because he can. They know his ability so we've just got to keep him thinking and believing so when Steph (Stephen Curry) come back he still stays in that role.

Monta Ellis
On tonight's game:
We finally got that monkey off our back. The bench came in and gave us a ton of energy. We started the game off flat but we stayed together as a team, picked up defensively and made plays.

On the bench's play:
Thats what we need from our bench. When we are missing a few bodies, a lot of guys didnt have it tonight. The bench came in and did a terrific job by bringing a lot of energy, made plays and the big guys rebounded.

On tonight's game:
I finally picked my energy up. I felt I wasnt contributing on both ends of the court. I got the opportunity to get a few easy baskets. Guys were finding me; I was taking shots with confidence. We now get to start our own streak. It wasnt looking good for us in the last six or seven games. Now we can get back on track. We have a few games coming up that I think we can compete out there and try to get some wins to start a streak going the other way.

On his charity event tomorrow:
My other number one goal other than having a great year here is getting in the inner city and getting in the community and doing better for these families that are less fortunate. Also, to the single mother home, a great Christmas for them and their families. I am taking them to dinner tomorrow and have gift baskets and everything ready for them. Its going to be a great event. Im very excited on having the opportunity to give back and do what I have been taught growing up.
