Don Nelson
On tonight's game:
“I’d like to commend the Miami Heat for playing a really great game on the back-to-back and they were tired and they played well in the first half. It’s good to learn that lesson with a win rather than a loss. You have to learn this lesson, that you have to play the first half and never take anything for granted. Do your job and play with emotion and energy, but we got it together and it was a very gutsy win. It ended up a great game and we played our rear ends off in the fourth quarter. We got away with one tonight and hopefully we learned a lesson and (next time) we’ll come to play for four quarters instead of two.”
On the playoff atmosphere:
“We’ve had some really great games and good wins here. The Phoenix game was crazy the whole game and a couple others that were really good too. Just the momentum when we needed the fans behind us because we weren’t ready to play in the first half. It was an exciting game. Both teams ended up going small, and I think they just ran out of energy before we did because of the back-to-back and they didn’t have the point guard Williams, although Wade is not a bad point guard.”
On how big this game was:
“I wouldn’t call it our best win, I guess any come-from-behind win is a good win, and we did it in great fashion, but we’ve had so many really good wins so far – road wins, close games, buzzer winners and overtime games.”
On Baron Davis:
“Baron banked in a three, and he did not call it. If you ask him, he probably say he called bank but he did not. Actually, he finally got going, I had to put him on their best player to get him going. He had to guard Dwyane Wade, I think that helped him to get going on the offensive end, and I could put Stephen Jackson on somebody else.”

On tonight's game:
“We just kept fighting. Once we got the lead down to eight, we just kept chipping away, chipping away and then Al came up with that big rebound and got to the line. I knew we had a chance, we just had to keep getting stops. They played the night before, so we knew they would get tired and it was just a matter of us making shots.”
On the Warriors fourth-quarter defense:
“I think it just comes from heart and determination. Coach challenged us at halftime and said this game was ours to get and it was a matter of us coming and playing hared. You’re not always going to be able to shoot the ball well, but at the end we can always get some stops.”

On tonight's game:
“We need to come out and play like we did in the second half. I didn’t think they were going to have the legs they had. They came out and they were running us instead of us running them and we had to fight back in the second half … It’s a great win for us.”
On Baron Davis in the 4th quarter:
“I knew he was going to do it. We had too much time on the clock and I saw it in his eyes. I went over there and told him, ‘Just do what you do,’ and he came out and just started firing.”

Stephen Jackson
On tonight's game:
“They started off the game ready to play and we didn’t, that was the main thing. We have to come out and be ready to play at tip-off. Dwyane Wade came out and got his teammates involved early and then we kind of tried to take over the game. They came out from the tip of the game ready to play and we kind of worked our way into it. We have to be better with that because you don’t want to get down to a good team like that and have to fight back, but we were able to do it tonight.”
On the difference in the fourth quarter:
“Baron Davis, point blank. B-A-R-O-N D-A-V-I-S, Baron Davis.”
