Curry Has Big Night In Defeat
The Warriors couldnt contend with the top team in the NBA, dropping a 118-98 decision to the visiting Spurs on Tuesday night at Oracle Arena. Matched up with San Antonios Tony Parker, Stephen Curry held his own and scored a game-high 32 points to go along with his five assists. David Lee came through with 18 points and five assists and Andris Biedrins pulled down 18 rebounds. But still, it wasnt enough to keep up with the Spurs, who remain undefeated on the road (8-0) this season by virtue of Tim Duncan's triple-double and Manu Ginobili's 27 points. The Warriors will look to get back in the win column on Thursday when they host the Suns in a game that will feature a Buy Two, Get One Tree offer, as well as the release of the 2011 Warrior Girl Swimsuit Calendar. In addition, the first 7,500 fans at Thursdays game will receive a free Warriors T-shirt, courtesy of Cache Creek Casino Resort.

Keith Smart
On Manu Ginobili:
Hes been playing that way all year. Hes been playing at a very high level. Getting to the basket, shooting the three and that guy can pull up for a three as well as get to the rim, hes going to be a tough cover. Then he understands how to cut hard, really cut hard, to force a defense to react to him. He just understands how to play the game, play at a very high rate and thats why hes having success.

On The Spurs 15-2 Start:
Theyve got guys on that team that have been through the wars. I think the one key is that all those guys have been home this summer. They didnt have national team commitments or things like that and they could focus on getting their bodies together and getting proper rest to get off to the fast start. But theyre good. Theyve been there and they understand how to play. On The Warriors Effort: I thought we were a little stagnant here and there. I think theyve (Spurs) done what theyve done the last couple of years and thats invite us to take the jumpshot and say we are going to live with you shooting the jumpshot.

Dorell Wright
On The Spurs:
They play together and buy into the system. Those guys have been playing with each other for a few years now, so they know each other. You can learn something from them as far as the defensive end on how they help and they listen to their coach. You can see it pays off.

We need to continue to play together and stay together and play hard. If we do all those things we could steal a couple of games that people dont think we can win.

Stephen Curry
On Tonight's Game:
You have to play smart and make minimal mistakes because they are going to capitalize. They run their offense so well and have played with each other for so long that they know where to be offensively. When you take out their first option they have their spacing so great that everyone is in the right spot and they move that ball where somebody is going to make a play. Defensively you have to be a step ahead with all five guys.

I think they are the most efficient team we have seen so far. They run their offensive sets so well. You know its coming but you still have trouble being one step ahead to defend it. Their veterans are smart and are going to run it to perfection. But when you get a stop you have to get the rebound.
