Don Nelson
On Matt Barnes
“Matt was our player of the game. I was very pleased with his performance and he also got a career-high with 24 points. He really read the defense well and has been on a good rhythm as of late, scoring 21 points for us in Denver."

On Tonight's Strategy
“We had to try something new to cover one of the hottest teams in the league. So we put in a 3-2 zone that we just implemented yesterday, so that we could shut down their bigs. We made some adjustments at half time to cover some gaps in our zone, which led to an increase in steals for us in the second half. The team played the zone well and it was good to see them play well especially on a back-to-back game night."

Matt Barnes
On His Recent Play
“It’s a great opportunity right now. We have some people hurt and sick right now, so I’m just trying to get in there and hopefully establish myself in this rotation when we get back to full strength. Whatever needs to be done, rebound, defense, scoring a little bit, I’m just trying to do whatever it takes to stay in the rotation.”

On Tonight's Game
“It was definitely a gut-check game. After not showing up last night in Denver, and then the next night having the best team at your house, we definitely knew we had to step up and we did.”

Andris Biedrins
On Tonight's Game
“I think today we played really good defense as a team. We just tried to rebound every ball, and that’s what we did. We didn’t want to make the same mistakes we did in Denver. We just played good defense, and myself, I just tried to get every rebound.”

On Playing Zone Defense
“The zone was really effective. We really surprised Utah. In the beginning of the game, they didn’t know we were in zone and this is a new zone. We just tried it out about two practices ago. It worked really well tonight and that’s how we won the game.”
