FULL GAME PREVIEW

Keith Smart
On tonight's game:
You have to move on again because you cannot hold onto it. We've got another game tomorrow night. We didnt come out with the competitive edge that we needed to match them. Those guys have length. [Ron] Artest does a good job of staying down and using his length, and getting up into your body. Then when you try to beat him, they have guys that are closing out and we've got to make some shots. When you dont make the shots, it compounds a guy like Monta [Ellis] and like Steph [Curry] trying to make plays against that length.

On Pau Gasol:
He didnt miss a shot because he does a great thing. Hes a solid pro and he understands if he brings [the ball] down, hes going to put it in an area where the small guys can get to the ball. He keeps it up nice and highSo it was a great teaching for our big guys to understand that he doesnt try to go and dunk everything.

Stephen Curry
On tonight's game:
Theyre playing really well right now. The team chemistrys really great, especially when theyre playing at home. Youve gotta be on your game and play a little outside yourself a bit, and try and be in the game and we didnt have that at the beginning. The first quarter they stepped on us hard and we couldnt deal with it.

On the Lakers' starting lineup:
Theyve got two seven-footers, and Kobe and Artest, so they really make it tough on you. Its hard to tell in practice what kind of a look youre going to see. I feel like we can play with them, weve just got to start out a little better.

Monta Ellis
On bouncing back for tomorrow's game:
Weve just got to go out and do it. The positive thing is that well be back at home, with our home fans and we know theyll have that extra energy that we need for tomorrow. I think everybodys gonna be pumped up since we lost tonight and were gonna try and get back on the winning side.

On his injury and status:
Im good. It was just my hip, just a bruise. Yes, [I will play tomorrow].
