QUOTES

Don Nelson
On Tonight's Game:
“We are two teams that actually match up well together, we play the same style and the team that was going to shoot best was going to win and that was us. We were able to move the ball and get good shots and there was a period in the third quarter where we stopped doing it and all of a sudden the team changed and gets stubborn and we finally got back to it. It was a good win for us.”

On C.J. Watson:
“He was fantastic. I liked him in this game and haven’t forgotten he’s there. I know he’s a good player. I told him that today in shoot around. I didn’t know I would use him as much tonight, but he just had a real good feel.”

Stephen Jackson
On C.J. Watson:
“C.J. is one of my favorites. He’s one of those guys who plays defense first and always takes good shots. I love having him on the floor with Monta [Ellis].”

On The Team's Offense:
“Every time we kept taking too many early shots and they would start getting back in the game Coach said to move the ball and we listened. Once we started moving the ball it got contagious and we started getting easy shots.”

“We always shoot with confidence. We have to have confidence in our shots. We spend a lot of time working on it so we shoot them with confidence.”

On Playing Nearly 48 minutes:
“I’ve been in the top three or four in minutes the last three years. I don’t mind playing the whole game. I think it keeps me in shape and keeps my stamina up but I was a little tired in the third quarter I missed about three wide open three pointers. But I don’t mind, anything to help the team.”

On Playing At Madison Square Garden:
“This is one of the best places to play. If someone says that it’s not, they’re lying. Everyone wants to say that they played in The Garden. I’m no different than anyone else.”
