KINGS

The Warriors made a short trip to Sacramento but walked away on the losing end of a 120-107 contest on Sunday night. Stephen Jackson scored 21 points and Corey Maggette came off the bench to finish with 20, but it was not enough for the Warriors to earn their first road victory of the season. Golden State shot over 50% as a team but could not get enough stops on the defensive end of the floor. The Warriors will now return home, where they will host the Minnesota Timberwolves on Monday night, a game that includes a special $10 Ticket Time Out offer. Fans can also take advantage of the Lucky Fan Pack and get both Warriors and Raiders tickets for one low price.

QUOTES

Don Nelson
On Tonight's Game:
“The job that Paul Westphal has done the past two games has been great. They are playing great after losing one of their best players. They picked it up and played two sensational games back-to-back. They deserve an awful lot of credit. We didn’t have a very good game. I thought we gave it our best effort and it wasn’t good enough.”

Monta Ellis
On Tonight's Game:
“We are doing everything we can. We are trying our best, but it is just not working for us now. The only thing we can do is keep going and try to get ourselves out of this.”

Stephen Jackson
On Tonight's Game:
“You always have to be positive. You have to deal with reality but you have to stay positive. We have a lot of work to do.”

On guarding Tyreke Evans:
“By the second half, I figured out how to guard him. I just denied him the ball. He is going to be real good."
