Don Nelson
On the Jazz
“This is one of the best teams I’ve seen here since I have been coaching against Jerry (Sloan). They are really ready to make some noise I think in the west, and I think you put this team right up there with any of the other ones you want to talk about.”

“They don’t have the celebrity status or whatever but this team comes to play, they’re good at what they do and they’re big.”

On Jason Richardson
“He just had his knee done and he is still trying to get his timing. Two open court plays that (his knee) buckled on him both times and so we will have to wait and see how he is tomorrow, he seemed alright at half time.”

On what he was disappointed in
“Just that we didn’t play better, I think a lot of phases of the game we didn’t really compete well enough tonight but that will happen. We played a good team and we are on the road.”

Baron Davis
On the play of Golden State
“We’ve got to find a way to become a more aggressive team and play with more energy.”

On losing
“I hate losing. I absolutely hate losing and I’m not used to it. This is something we’ve got to change around here and it’s gonna have to happen soon.”

On play of the Jazz
“They’re a tough, physical team. They run their stuff and they just play well together.”

Jason Richardson
On how he is doing coming back from injury
“This is just my third game back. I’m just trying to get my rhythm back and try to help this team win.”

On the play of the Jazz
“They’re a very good team. They’ve got a good low post presence and got some good guards. The addition on Derek Fisher is going to make them that much tougher. This is one of the teams that we’re going to be battling for a playoff spot and we got to come out better than we did tonight.”
