Warriors Roll Past Raptors
The Warriors got off to a blistering start and cruised to a 138-100 win on Friday night at Oracle Arena. The exclamation point on this one came early, as the Warriors shot 81.0 percent in the opening quarter. Golden State scored an NBA-season high 84 points in the first half and had four players score more than 20 points, led by Monta Ellis with 27 points and 10 assists and Stephen Curry with 23 points and eight assists. Dorell Wright added 26 points and David Lee came through with 21. The win was the Warriors third in the last four games at home, and the team will have a shot to build on its Oracle success on Sunday when they host the Wizards (6 p.m.). Family and Friends ticket packages start at less than $50, and $5 of every remaining ticket sold will be donated to UNICEFs relief efforts in Japan. In addition, the first 10,000 fans in attendance will receive a Warriors T-shirt, courtesy of Bug Zappers Pest Control.
