Warriors Win In 3-Point Frenzy In OT
After two long weeks without a home game, an electrifying sellout crowd welcomed the Warriors back to Oracle Arena, and the team responded with a 123-120 overtime win against the Magic on Friday night. Trailing by as many as 21 points, the Warriors got hot from long distance in the second half and wound up setting a franchise record with 21 made 3-pointers. Monta Ellis shot 7-for-9 on 3-pointers and finished with 39 points and 11 assists. Dorell Wright (32 points) was equally hot, going 8-for-11 on threes and Stephen Curry came through with 22 points and 12 assists. The Magic also had the hot hand with 15 shots from long distance, and the 36 combined 3-pointers set an NBA record. The Warriors will look for more shots to go down on Sunday when they host the Minnesota Timberwolves in a match-up featuring one of Jack's Box Office Specials

Keith Smart

Keith Smart Audio Interview

Monta Ellis
On tonight's game:
It was a great win tonight. It feels great to be back home in front of the home fans and put on a show tonight.

On the team's 3-point shooting:
It was just one of those nights where we had it going. We took the opportunity they gave us and none were forced. We just took the opportunity and like I said, it was going down for us.

On cutting into Orlando's lead in the second quarter:
It was very important. We couldnt go down 20 going into halftime. So we tried to cut it down as much as possible and then come out in the third with a little life to make it a game.

Dorell Wright

Dorell Wright Audio Interview

On tonight's game:
Thats an NBA classic right there for sure. That was a great game and it was great to be a part of that. It was definitely a shootout, both teams wouldnt give up. We fought all the way, 21 points down. Team showed a lot of pride and heart going out there playing against one of these elite teams in the NBA. That definitely has to be number one in my career.

On getting his shooting touch back:
Ive been in a huge slump since All-Star break. Coach told me to get some extra shots before shootaround, thats something I dont do. Im very superstitious. I took some shots, got into a little rhythm and came here, before the game I felt good. I broke my routine. So hey, whatever it takes.
