Mark Jackson
On the loss:
“It was the little things, finishing out ball games. The last line of our defense is securing the basketball, and when it mattered most we weren’t able to do it. I’m disappointed. It’s a tough loss.”

“It’s the little things that either win or lose ball games as we continue to find it out. When it matters most, there should be five guys in the paint area chasing down that loose rebound. At the end of the day, Tony Allen wanted it. That’s what winners do.”

On the last play:
“Once again we were in a position to win the ball game and we didn’t because of a defensive rebound. That’s the disappointing part about it.”

On the beginning of the game:
“It’s the process. We shouldn’t put ourselves in position to have to fight back. They took control of the game, and we started off very sluggish. Give us credit we didn’t quit, we didn’t lie down. We fought back and took control of the game, and put ourselves in position to win. It’s just a tough way to lose.”

David Lee
On the loss:
“Certainly, our record is not as good as we want it to be. We have lost a lot of close games. The positive is we are not far off negative is we have let a lot of games slip away. Everyone on this team wants to win. The matter is we didn’t make the play, and the Grizzlies came up with the win.”

Nate Robinson
On the loss:
“We have to find a way to get the job done; it’s not going to be perfect. We have to find a way regardless of what it is. We shot ourselves in the foot tonight. Gave the Grizzlies 20 points early, came back and led by 10. Losing is old, we are toward the end of the season, we are scrapping together to get wins. We have to get on it now. Hopefully we will turn the page and get going. I think it was a great game. Tony Allen made great shots to lead the Grizzlies, and we didn’t stop him.”
