4th-Quarter Run Spurs Warriors Victory
Energized by a sellout crowd of 19,596 fans at Oracle Arena, the Warriors went on a 16-2 run to open the fourth quarter in Saturdays 101-90 victory over the visiting Bulls. Monta Ellis scored 14 of his 33 points in the final period, and Stephen Curry had 23 points and eight assists in the Warriors third-straight victory. Trailing by as many 12 points in the third quarter, Golden State stormed back and went ahead when Ellis converted an alley-oop from Dorell Wright (20 points) on an inbounds pass in the final seconds. That play sparked a game-changing run for the Warriors, whose starters attributed for all but six of the teams points. The Warriors will look to continue their winning streak on Monday against the Phoenix Suns , and fans can save up to 50% on tickets or take advantage of a MMA Night ticket package that starts at $20.

Tim Roye's Game Recap

Keith Smart
On the team's defense
We just had some time to practice. We had a couple of days off and we can lock into some things that we need to do to clean up certain coverages because we have to change those coverages during the course of the game. I thought our guys followed it to a T, how we were going to play him (Derrick Rose) and kind of bottle him up a little bit. We couldnt let him get his game going early, and thats what hes been able to do against a lot of teams.

Defensively weve been doing some great things, but we havent been able to put it together for an entire game, or 40 minutes of a game. But today I think we did itexcept for a little bit of the third quarter, but we put it together in the fourth quarter where it was a perfect defensive game in the 4th quarter.

On the significance of the win
I understand its a big win for us, and a great for our organization but we are locked in on the prize. We are looking straight down the road; we are not looking at what just happened. We just passed that. Chicago is in the rearview mirror and now we have to move forward to the next game.

Stephen Curry Postgame Interview

Monta Ellis
On tonight's game
We played hard. We did a great defensive effort as a team and closed the game out.

On the significance of the win
We needed this. We owed them for Chicago when they beat us by 30 there. We just wanted to come out and play hard and play all 48 minutes.

Dorell Wright
On the significance of the win
Definitely the biggest win for us, just because the type of roll theyre on. The level Derrick Rose is playing at, (Carlos) Boozer and all those guys. I think this is definitely the biggest win by far this year. I am glad guys came to play. We listen to coaches game plan and we went out there and executed.

On defending Derrick Rose
You know we trapped him and not letting him get in the paint. Thats when hes most effective when hes getting in the paint finding his teammates; hes so athletic and strong that he can finish over the top with his up and unders.

David Lee
On tonight's game
They hit some tough shots to start the (second) half. I think we had some that we would normally make that didnt go in, we had some open looks and thats going to happen. A mark of a resilient team like ours is that we continue to fight. We got it back even. The start of that fourth quarter our bench came in and gave us a huge lift. Ekpe (Udoh) played some great minutes tonight. Monta (Ellis) and Steph (Curry) got hot late and did a great job for us.
