Warriors Clipped In L.A.
Foul trouble, poor shooting and turnovers cost the Warriors in a 105-91 loss to the Clippers on Sunday afternoon in Los Angeles. Dorell Wright kept the Warriors in the game early with 15 of his 27 points in the first quarter and Monta Ellis (13 points, 6 assists) was the only other Warrior to score in double figures. Golden State shot 39.0 percent from the field and was unable to recover from a 21-4 Clippers run to close out the second quarter. The Warriors will now return home for five-straight games, beginning with a highly anticipated game against the Lakers on Wednesday. Individual ticket locations have recently been released for this game, which is sure to draw another sellout crowd to Oracle Arena.

Keith Smart
On today's game:
We had several guys in foul trouble. So those guys didnt have a chance to get into a rhythm. But you know what, well move on from this game and get ourselves ready for our next game. We cant do anything about that. The rhythm of the game is very fluid, and if youre sitting on the bench, and you cant get in the game and play real aggressive, then its going to be hard for you to compete in a game like this.

On the team's energy:
We didnt have the energy level that you needed. We played ourselves back into the game in the first quarter and we closed the half but they put us back in the hole when we came back into the game. We came back in the third quarter and we played just as flat and turned the ball over so we didnt have a chance.

Dorell Wright
On today's game:
Guys that arent normally in foul trouble are sitting on the bench, so its tough when youre out there and you lose that battle. Not only does it leave you shorthanded out there on the floor but it also takes away from a lot of the teams aggressiveness.

Stephen Curry
On playing with foul trouble:
You cant change the way you play the game. It was just one of those nights where we had to deal with that early and often. They got everything they wanted on offense and took us out of the game.

On upcoming matchups against the Clippers:
We played [the Clippers] earlier this season, and they are a totally different team (now). We expect the same kind of effort that they brought out tonight with Baron [Davis] and Blake [Griffin], so well just have to be ready for them.
