The Warriors trimmed a 13-point fourth-quarter deficit down to three but could not make enough plays down the stretch in Friday's 97-90 loss to the Lakers in Los Angeles. Playing without Stephen Curry and Andris Biedrins, the Warriors had the lead at halftime but 18 turnovers and substandard free throw shooting cost the team dearly in the road trip finale. Monta Ellis (18 points, 10 assists) and David Lee (15 points, 11 rebounds) had double-doubles and Klay Thompson added 14 points off the bench for the Warriors. FULL GAME RECAP
WARRIORS VS. JAZZ
Last season the Warriors fared well against the Jazz, winning three of their four matchups including a double-digit win the last time they played at Oracle Arena. Going against a deep and talented frontline headlined by Al Jefferson (18.4 points and 8.4 rebounds a game), the Warriors big men will have their work cut out for them in the paint.
