We had some games on the road trip where we played really hard and there were some games where we came up empty. Seattle was one of the hottest teams in the league coming into tonight’s basketball game … give our team a lot of credit for playing hard.

We had a little bit more of a post tonight than we had in some other games. Cliff (Robinson) just gave us everything he had. You have to include the fact that he comes forward in the media and announces that he is willing to come out of the starting line up in order to give our team a boost… this is all nothing but positive stuff. He has been a great influence during the losing streak in the locker room.

We had some guys who had some very big nights. With (Cliff) Robinson having a night like tonight and (Jason) Richardson scoring the basketball. Cardinal continues to do a phenomenal job for us and he really makes an impact when he is in the game.

I am not really sure if we want to shoot that many threes, but we will take it tonight. I did not say at the beginning of the game that we were going to try to take 30 threes, but Cliff got hot.

We took care of the ball too, it was a low turnover game by both teams. We combined for 24 turnovers and a 110 plus scored by both teams it was a fun game to watch. It was a great spectator game and it was a great game to play in. The effort and the confidence that we had tonight were phenomenal, especially after we lost as many games as we had in a row.

Clifford Robinson
On tying a career record by hitting six threes:
I was just trying to be aggressive; I have been in a stretch where I have not shot the ball as well as I wanted. During that stretch, I have been a little tentative and tonight I wanted to be aggressive and take the shot when I had a good look and I found myself wide open several times and I was able to knock them down.

If someone asked me how many threes we took I would not have thought we took that many, but some nights it is going to be like that. We hit some big ones an they hit some big ones, it was a good game to watch, it was a good game to play in, and it was definitely a good game to win.

Jason Richardson
On shooting the three after holding the ball for awhile:
I was trying to get the ball to Cliff; he was carrying us the whole game. But, (Brent) Barry and Rashard (Lewis) did a good job at denying the pass. So, I looked at Nick and he was being overplayed by Antonio Daniels, I had already picked up my dribble, so I shot it.

It was a must win for us. We came in here and hit some big shots…I hit one myself, Cliff had one at a big time. Those threes were key because they are a really good shooting team, they can come down and fire one on you.
