I thought it was a great effort. We played with a lot of heart, and determination. We were down 15 with five minutes to go and just didn’t quit. All night we had a lot of inner drive and fortitude to try and win this basketball game, but just couldn’t get the job done.
Every timeout we believed we were going to win, even when we were down. It was just a disappointing loss for us. I thought the tempo was at our pace, and we did everything we had wanted to do. We really had solid contributions from everyone who gave us minutes. We’re never happy or satisfied after a loss, and that’s the way it should be. But without question we are proud of the effort we put forth tonight.
When you play a great team like this, one of the better in the East, your mind set just has to be that you have to give yourself a chance to win, and we felt we had that but just couldn’t come away with it.

We did some positive things. We lost the game, but as the way we’ve been playing lately we just have to take some positive energy from it, build on it, and realize this is the way we’re going to have to play. It’s a tough loss, but sometimes a loss can really turn the season around. We gave ourselves a chance in the fourth quarter, which is something we haven’t been able to do on the road, and that’s all we can really ask for.
