Eric Musselman
On the game
“Washington played with great energy tonight, and great effort. They did a phenomenal job on the backboards. You don’t get 24 offensive rebounds without playing with great energy. In the third quarter our defense hurt us. With 20 turnovers on the road you are not going to win basketball games.
On possible lineup changes
“Probably not on a back to back. In order to make a change in the lineup somebody has to step up from the bench to be in a change. Nobody has so there is no reason to make a change for a change. If somebody steps us and forces the issue, then we are open to anything that would help our team get out of this rut.”

Nick Van Exel
On the game
“The effort was there for two and a half quarters. On the road when we get down, we don’t have any heart to fight back, or no kind of enthusiasm to get back into the game. When we are at home we tend to feed off our crowd to get back into the game. On the road all we have is each other.”
On the team
“When we went down 10 everybody’s heads were down. It is going to be real tough to win if our heads are down on the road just because we are down. We can’t allow ourselves to go into a hole, we have to figure something out.”

Jason Richardson
On the game
“I think we got into an offensive flow pretty well, but it’s our transition game that slows us down. We had most of our turnovers in transition and it really hurt us.”
On the Wizards third quarter run
“It has happened to us all year. When a team goes on a run, we hold our heads down and stop fighting. They played some pretty good defense, we have to do a better job of helping each other get open shots.”
