The Warriors selected Stephen Curry with the seventh pick in the 2009 NBA Draft.
Since the Warriors season came to a close earlier this spring, all aspects of the organization -- from the front office employees to the Warrior Girls to the players and coaches themselves -- have been hard at work in preparation for the 2009-10 campaign.

With the NBA Draft, Summer League, Training Camp, player appearances and more, there has hardly been a dull moment at Warriors Headquarters this off-season.

Warriors Exercise Contract Options On Brandan Wright & Anthony Randolph
The Warriors announced on October 15th that the team has exercised the fourth-year contract option on forward Brandan Wright and the third-year contract option on forward Anthony Randolph, which are both for the 2010-11 NBA season. Find Out More

Warriors Forward Brandan Wright Undergoes Successful Surgery
Warriors forward Brandan Wright underwent successful surgery on October 9 to repair a torn labrum in his left shoulder. Following the surgery, which was performed by Dr. James Andrews at the Andrews Institute in Gulf Breeze, Florida, Wright’s shoulder will be immobilized for up to six (6) weeks, at which point he will be re-evaluated prior to the next phase of rehabilitation. Warriors Premium Seating Welcome Party
Warriors forward Anthony Randolph and President Robert Rowell attended the team’s Welcome Party for Luxury Suite and Premium Seat holders on Monday, October 5. Guests were treated to an exclusive chalk talk with Randolph and Rowell, a buffet dinner, access to a full bar and the chance to have their photos taken with the Warrior Girls at Oracle Arena's Mezzanine Club. Warriors & KNBR Sign Multi-Year Contract Extension
The Warriors have signed a three-year contract extension with their flagship radio station, KNBR, the team announced on October 1, thus beginning the team’s 34th season on KNBR. As part of the new contract, KNBR 680 and KNBR 1050 will continue to serve as co-flagship stations for all Warriors’ radio broadcasts. Read Full Release

Warriors Announce 2009 Training Camp Roster
The Warriors announced their 2009 Training Camp roster on Friday, September 25. Training Camp will take place at the team’s Practice Facility in Downtown Oakland from September 29 through October 3. In partnership with Ross Stores, the Warriors hosted a Reading Rally at East Oakland PRIDE Elementary School on September 22. Andris Biedrins And Ronny Turiaf Participate In Eurobasket 2009
Warriors centers Andris Biedrins and Ronny Turiaf spent much of September in Poland competing in Eurobasket 2009. Biedrins (Latvia) and Turiaf (France) each looked to lead their national team to a European championship and automatic bid to the 2010 FIBA World Championships. Warriors Re-Sign Restricted Free Agent C.J. Watson
The Warriors announced the re-signing of restricted free agent guard C.J. Watson on Wednesday, September 9. Watson, 25, appeared in 77 games (18 starts) last season and averaged 14.6 points and 4.1 assists during his 18 starting assignments. Warriors guard Anthony Morrow helped deliver a brand new Kia to Building Futures in San Leandro on September 3. Winners of Keys For Caring, Presented By Kia Motors, Building Futures won the contest by submitting an essay to the Warriors that explained why their non-profit organization deserved a new vehicle. Warriors Announce 2009-10 Television Schedule

Warriors Sign Free Agent Mikki Moore
The Warriors announced signing of free agent center Mikki Moore on September 2. Per team policy, terms of the agreement were not announced. Moore, 33, joins the Warriors after averaging 5.8 points and 3.9 rebounds in 18.2 minutes per contest over his first 11 years in the NBA. Corey Maggette Undergoes Successful Surgery on Right Wrist
Golden State Warriors forward Corey Maggette underwent successful surgery on his right wrist on Monday, June 29. The surgery, which was performed in Los Angeles by Dr. Roy Meals of UCLA, will require minimal rehabilitation and Maggette will be able to resume normal basketball activities within 3-4 weeks.
