Warriors Trade Charles Jenkins to Philadelphia

The Golden State Warriors have traded guard Charles Jenkins and cash considerations to the Philadelphia 76ers in exchange for future draft considerations, it was announced today.

Jenkins, 23, appeared in 47 games with the Warriors this season, averaging 1.7 points and 0.6 assists in 6.2 minutes (seven DNP-CDs). Originally selected by the Warriors in the second round (#44 overall) of the 2011 NBA Draft, Jenkins appeared in 51 games (28 starts) during his rookie campaign last season, averaging 5.8 points and 3.3 assists in 17.5 minutes while leading all rookies in assist-to-turnover ratio (2.83-to-1). In 28 starting assignments last season, Jenkins averaged 8.6 points and 5.1 assists.

Jenkins holds career averages of 3.9 points and 2.0 assists in 12.1 minutes in 98 games with Golden State.
