Warriors Sign Center DeAndre Jordan To Offer Sheet
Los Angeles Clippers Have Three Days To Match Offer On Restricted Free Agent

Jordan averaged 7.1 points and 7.2 rebounds in 25.6 minutes per game last season.
The Golden State Warriors have signed restricted free agent center DeAndre Jordan to an offer sheet, the team announced today. Terms of the deal were not announced.

Under current NBA rules, because Jordan is a restricted free agent, the Los Angeles Clippers have three (3) days to match the Warriors’ offer sheet. If the Clippers decline to do so, the 6’11” center will become a member of the Warriors.

Jordan, 23, appeared in 80 games (66 starts) with the Clippers last season, averaging 7.1 points, 7.2 rebounds and 1.78 blocks in 25.6 minutes per contest, while shooting 68.6% (234-341 FG) from the field, which would have led the NBA had he qualified. Among NBA leaders, he ranked 10th in the NBA in blocked shots.

A three-year veteran, Jordan has appeared in 203 NBA games (91 starts), averaging 5.6 points, 5.7 rebounds and 1.30 blocks in 19.5 minutes per contest. He was originally selected by the Clippers with the 35th pick in the 2008 NBA Draft out of Texas A&M.
