Warriors Activate Eduardo Najera
The Golden State Warriors have activated forward Eduardo Najera from the injured list prior to this evening’s game in Los Angeles versus the Lakers, Executive Vice President of Basketball Operations Chris Mullin announced today. In a related move, the team also placed forward Zarko Cabarkapa on the injured list with left knee tendinitis.
Najera, who underwent arthroscopic surgery on his left knee on January 7, has missed the last nine games after being placed on the injured list due to left knee soreness on January 3. Prior to being placed on the injured list, he had appeared in 27 games this season, averaging 4.1 points and 2.4 rebounds in 12.4 minutes per contest.
Cabarkapa, who was acquired from the Phoenix Suns on January 3, has appeared in five games with the Warriors, averaging 2.6 points and 2.4 rebounds in 8.0 minutes per contest.
