The Golden State Warriors and The Mayor’s Office of the City of Oakland are teaming up to host The Mayor’s Holiday Toy Drive on Friday, December 14, 2007, when the team takes on the Los Angeles Lakers at ORACLE Arena (7:30 p.m. tip-off).

The Mayor’s Holiday Toy Drive is an attempt by the Warriors and The Mayor’s Office of the City of Oakland to collect donations and gifts that will be redistributed to local children and families during the holidays, especially low-income households and victims of abuse or neglect. Specifically, donations of toys for children and youth ranging in age from infants to 18 years of age are needed.

Representatives from the Warriors and The Mayor’s Office will be present at the game to collect donations. Drop-off locations, which will be available through halftime, include:

  • East Entrance on the Main Concourse
  • Plaza Level Club Entrance (Smirnoff Club)
  • North Entrance on the Main Concourse
