Baron Davis is one of several Warriors players and coaches to have visited a session of Warriors Basketball Camp.
The Golden State Warriors today announced the 2007 summer schedule for Warriors Basketball Camp, presented by Total Sports, 24 Hour Fitness and Fox Sports Net Bay Area. The five-month schedule features 17 sessions at nine locations throughout the Bay Area. Currently in its eighth year, Warriors basketball camp has served over 10,000 youth since its inception in the summer of 2000. Last summer, the popular camps were filled to 97% capacity and the majority of sessions were completely sold out.

The schedule is highlighted by 10 weeklong general sessions, which focus on individual skill development, the importance of fundamentals and the development of a healthy team attitude for boys and girls, ages 8-16, of all skill levels and abilities. Two of the general sessions will be held at 24 Hour Fitness Super Sport in San Ramon, while others will be held in Santa Rosa, Los Altos Hills, Newark, Saratoga, San Francisco, Napa, Larkspur and Alameda.

In addition to the general sessions, several other popular “specialty” sessions are scheduled, including a Parent/Child Camp, a weeklong High Potential session (ages 11-17), a Future Stars Camp (ages 5-8), plus Guard and Shooting Camps and Clinics.

The staff at Warriors Basketball Camp is made up of current high school and college coaches, as well as current and former local college players. Most sessions of Warriors Basketball Camp also feature appearances by current and former Warriors players and coaches. Past camp appearances have included current Warriors players Baron Davis, Jason Richardson, Monta Ellis and Andris Biedrins, as well as visits by Warriors legends Chris Mullin, Mitch Richmond, Nate Thurmond, and Al Attles among others.
