2006-07 Television Schedule
The Golden State Warriors today released the club’s 2006-07 television schedule, which features a total of 73 televised games.

FSN Bay Area, the exclusive television home for Warriors games in Northern California, will televise 70 contests during the upcoming campaign – including 30 games in high definition and nine contests on FSN Plus. Golden State’s local television docket consists of 34 home games and 36 away contests.

FSN Bay Area begins its 16th season of covering Warriors basketball on Opening Night, Wednesday, November 1, when Golden State plays host to the Los Angeles Lakers. For the 10th consecutive season, play-by-play announcer Bob Fitzgerald will team with 22-year veteran analyst Jim Barnett to describe the action on all FSN Bay Area telecasts.

In addition to the 70 games that are slated for telecast on FSN Bay Area, the Warriors are also scheduled to play three nationally televised contests. TNT’s exclusive national Thursday night telecasts will feature Golden State’s home contests versus the Sacramento Kings on November 16 and the Phoenix Suns on March 29, while ESPN will televise the Warriors’ home game against the Chicago Bulls on Friday, February 9. Additionally, two Warriors games are slated to appear on NBA TV, the league’s 24-hour cable channel dedicated exclusively to NBA-related content.
