Ellis was chosen to participate on the sophomore team at the 2007 T-Mobile Rookie Challenge as part of All-Star Weekend in Las Vegas. The ninth Warrior to be selected to the game, Ellis currently ranks second among all qualified second-year players in scoring (17.1 ppg).
