Golden State Warriors guard Monta Ellis
suffered a bruised right knee during the team’s evening practice session last night (July 6) at the Toshiba Vegas Summer League
. The injury was diagnosed by Warriors’ orthopedic consultant Dr. John Belzer in San Francisco, where Ellis underwent an MRI earlier today.
The MRI showed no structural damage and Ellis is expected to begin rehabilitation in the near future. He is also expected to be ready for training camp when the Warriors open practice in early October, but will not participate in the Summer League.
