Warriors To Hold Public Open Practice On Monday, October 9
The Golden State Warriors announced today that the team will hold a practice session open to the public at The Arena in Oakland on Monday, October 9 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.
Parking and admission to the event will be free for all fans, with doors opening at approximately 5:45 p.m. Concession stands will also be open, with food and beverage items being sold at their regular prices.
This will be the first public unveiling of the Warriors and new Head Coach Don Nelson's squad. The Warriors host two preseason contests at The Arena in Oakland beginning on October 12 when Golden State play host to Efes Pilsen (get tickets), a professional team from Istanbul that reached the Turkish League finals last season and has advanced to the Euroleague quarterfinals in each of the past two campaigns. On October 24, the Warriors will face the Portland Trail Blazers (get tickets). Both contests tipoff at 7:30 p.m.
