Coming off of Thursday’s heartbreaking defeat, the Warriors will look to bounce back against Dwight Howard and the Orlando Magic on Saturday in the reigning Eastern Conference champion’s lone visit to Oracle Arena this season. Saturday will surely be a momentous occasion, as the Warrior Girls are set to unveil their 2010 Swimsuit Calendar. For one low price of $20, fans can get their own copy of the calendar, plus a ticket to Saturday’s game – a savings of $35. In addition, each and every Warrior Girl will be available to sign autographs both before and after the game. To find out more about the Warrior Girls Calendar Release Party, click here. A Friends and Family Offer will also be in place for this contest, allowing fans to save up to $79 on a package including four game tickets, four hot dogs, four soft drinks and four bags of chips.

Taking on Orlando will be no easy task for the Warriors, as the Magic have the best record in the Eastern Conference. Golden State, however, does have a chance if they can stick to what they do best and maintain a high-energy pace throughout the game. Playing without a true center in the lineup, the Warriors must take advantage of their speed and athleticism and get easy baskets in transition. That certainly isn’t out of the question for the Warriors, as they rank first in the NBA with 23.3 fast-break points per game.

What can help the Warriors push the tempo is an equally frenetic pace on the defensive end of the floor. Playing aggressive, hard-nosed defense can be risky, but it can also be rewarding. The Warriors know that as well as anybody, as the team leads the league by forcing 18.6 turnovers per game. More than anything though, Golden State needs to put together a complete game to take down the Magic. On multiple occasions this season, the Warriors have put together three quarters of quality basketball, only to be done in by a sub-par period or six-minute stretch.

The Warriors won’t be able to afford any such letdown against the Magic, who are riding a four-game winning streak as they enter a four-game Western Conference road trip. Led by All-Star center Dwight Howard and veteran swingman Vince Carter, Orlando is sure to be a tough match-up for a Golden State team that remains without Andris Biedrins and Ronny Turiaf. The Warriors, however, are always tough at home and the team is sure to be hungry for a win after letting Thursday’s contest slip away in the fourth quarter.

Following Saturday’s contest, the Warriors will embark on a five-game road trip that begins in Oklahoma City on Monday and continues through New Jersey, Chicago, Detroit and Philadelphia. The next chance to catch the Warriors at home will be when the team hosts the San Antonio Spurs on Wednesday, December 16. That contest will mark another Hardwood Classiccs Night at Oracle Arena, and fans can get a game ticket and an adidas Hardwood Classics beanie for just $20.
