The Splash Brothers combined for 57 points in a Slate Night victory over the Timberwolves.

The Warriors used a 13-3 run late in the fourth quarter to put away a resilient Timberwolves squad in Saturday night’s 110-101 win at Oracle Arena. The 37th home win of the season set a new franchise record for the Dubs, who also became the first team in NBA history to improve its win total from a 50-win campaign by at least 14 games.
Klay Thompson sparked the game-deciding run, hitting a 3-pointer from the corner after Minnesota had trimmed their 17-point deficit down to one. The Splash Brother, who had missed his first six 3-point attempts of the night, had 11 of his 23 points in the final quarter.
If Thompson played the role of closer, Stephen Curry was the workhorse starter who kept the Dubs in the game early. With nearly everyone else on the team struggling offensively, Curry took charge and had 15 points in the opening period. He finished the night with another MVP-resume building effort of 34 points and seven assists, and he hit five 3-pointers on the night to bring his NBA record total to 281 treys this season.
