Warriors Top Lakers in Preseason Opener
After trailing by double digits, the Warriors put together a 35-0 run late in the third quarter to earn a 110-83 victory over the Lakers in Fresno Sunday night. David Lee scored 19 points and Klay Thompson added 18 to help Golden State beat Los Angeles in both teams' preseason opener. Rookie Harrison Barnes and first-year Warrior Carl Landry chipped in 13 points apiece while Brandon Rush and Richard Jefferson combined for 18. The Warriors were without starters Andrew Bogut and Stephen Curry, though both dressed. Golden State will be back in action tomorrow when they take on the Utah Jazz at home.
