So much for a relaxing off-season. Over the last month, a lot has been going on with the Golden State Warriors. From preparing for the NBA Draft and selecting Stephen Curry at No. 7 to trades and rumored deals to the upcoming Summer League, there has hardly been a dull moment at Warriors headquarters over the last month.

One of our biggest jobs as a Warrior Girl is to provide entertainment to the fans at all the home games. With practices three times a week, a lot of preparation goes into each time we perform at a game. I absolutely love the energy we get from the crowd each time we step onto the court. Being in Japan, it was our chance to show what we do best in another country.

In recent years, the Golden State Warriors and Phoenix Suns have treated their fans to some of the most entertaining and crowd-pleasing basketball in all of the NBA. The teams will be at it again this fall when they meet in an outdoors pre-season game on October 10 at the Indian Wells Tennis Garden in Indian Wells, Calif.

The Warriors have experienced an interesting season in 2008-09, especially on the injury front. But, the overabundance of injuries have also created opportunities that have subsequently led us to our favorite color – silver, as in lining. The silver lining around that half-full glass has been pretty evident for the last three or four months.
