8/8/08 at 8pm and 8 seconds, the Opening Ceremonies for the Olympic Games in Beijing got underway. 8 is the luckiest number in Chinese culture as the pronunciation is very similar to the sound of the word for “prosperous” or “success.”

Isn't Summer supposed to be a time for people to rest and relax? Not for many of those in the Warriors' front office, especially the decision-makers. Looking back on the last few weeks, you could make an argument that late June and July might have been one of the busiest off-season spans in team history, notably for the Warriors top brass.

Well, it's here again!! The 2008-09 Warrior Girls were announced on Friday, and I'm so grateful to be back! This past month has been filled with intense clinics in preparation for the big audition, and now I can't wait to begin Season No. 3 as a Warrior Girl.
WRAPPING THINGS UP IN UTAH

Golden State finished with a 3-1 record in Utah, which was good enough to earn them a tie for first place. Coupled with their 4-1 finish in Vegas that also netted them a first place tie, the Warriors finished 7-2 overall in what has to be called a very successful summer.

Lottery selection Anthony Randolph and second-rounder Richard Hendrix patiently answered questions from a number of Bay Area media members and also spent some quality time with the winners of warriors.com's "Meet the Draft Picks" contest before meeting up with a group of kids from a local community group. MY FINAL BLOG ENTRY OF THE SEASON

Hey everyone, it is time for my final blog of the season. Unfortunately it is coming a lot sooner than I had hoped. It was a weird season. We didn’t make the playoffs, but, I think, we did pretty good. I mean we got 48 wins and that’s a pretty good score at the end of the season.
