In addition to providing top-tier entertainment at Warriors home games, the Warrior Girls are also dedicated to making a difference in their community. The Warrior Girls stay active in dozens of philanthropic efforts throughout the year. One of their greatest involvements is with the NBA's Read to Achieve Program. Every month the Warrior Girls host multiple Reading Time Outs in which they read books to a group of children.

In addition, the Warrior Girls attend countless Season Ticket Holder events throughout the season. At these events, they interact with fans, assist with raffles, sign autographs and are always willing to pose for a picture with some of the most dedicted fans in the NBA.

June 11, 2012 - Learning Without Limits at the Tech Museum
On June 11, the Warriors hosted their Learning without Limits program at the Tech Museum in San Jose. The event gave 50 students enrolled in summer school at Horace Mann Elementary in San Jose the opportunity to experience science and technology with a hands-on approach. March 27, 2012 - Kaiser Permanente Get Fit Time Out
The Warriors teamed up with Kaiser Permanente to host a Get Fit Time Out at Oakland’s Bella Vista Elementary School on March 27. The students were treated to a nutrition and health themed performance by Kaiser Permanente’s Educational Theatre Program and answered questions for Warriors prizes. March 22, 2012 - Warriors Helping Hands Food Packaging
On March 22, as a part of the Warriors employee volunteer program, Helping Hands, Warriors front office staff partnered with the San Francisco Food Bank to package over 5,000 pounds of food. March 2, 2012 - Warriors Read To Achieve Reading Time Out
In recognition of Dr. Seuss’ birthday, the Golden State Warriors, in partnership with ROSS Stores and KQED, hosted a special Read to Achieve event in support of Read Across America Day on March 2. December 15, 2011 - Warriors Helping Hands Food Serving
As part of the Warriors Season of Giving, volunteers from the Warriors front office staff partnered with the Oakland Police Activities League to serve dinner to over 650 in-need men, women and children at Shiloh Christian Church in Oakland. December 12, 2011 - Shop With A Sherriff Deputy
As a part of this year’s Season of Giving initiatives, the Warriors partnered with the San Francisco Deputy Sherriff’s Foundation to take local kids holiday shopping at the Target in Colma. November 29, 2011 - Warriors Unveil Reading & Learning Center
On November 29, the Warriors rededicated a Reading and Learning Corner at the Alameda County Family Justice Center in Oakland as a new and improved Reading and Learning Center. November 22, 2011 - Warriors Hospital Visit
On November 22nd, Warriors Assistant Coach Darren Erman and Warrior Girls Angel and Thera surprised the kids at the Children's Hospital in Oakland. October 31, 2011 - Warriors Host Halloween Reading Time Out
The Warriors celebrated Halloween with a special Read to Achieve Reading Time Out at Coronado Elementary School in Richmond, featuring Warriors legend and community ambassador Alvin Attles. October 24, 2011 - Warriors Pamper Me Pretty Pink
In recognition of Domestic Violence Awareness Month and Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the Warriors hosted a Pamper Me Pretty party for 15 women at Pleasanton Nail Salon on October 24th. October 20, 2011 - Warriors Volunteer at Alameda Food Bank
As part of the recently developed Helping Hands Employee Volunteer Program, more than 20 Warriors front office staff members volunteered at the Alameda County Community Food Bank on October 20. September 22, 2011 - Warriors & R.O.C.K. Afterschool Programs
During the third full week of September, the Warriors hosted several activities for participants of the afterschool program Real Options for City Kids (R.O.C.K.). Located at San Francisco’s Visitacion Valley Middle School, R.O.C.K. aims to promote the positive development and long-term success of youth through, among other things, sports and fitness. September 14, 2011 - Warriors Season Ticket Holder Event
On September 14, the Warriors hosted an exclusive event for their season ticket holders at Oracle Arena. Fans had the opportunity to hear directly from Warriors Owners Joe Lacob and Peter Guber, Executive Board Member Jerry West and Head Coach Mark Jackson. September 13, 2011 - Esurance Green Mob Beautification Project
The Warriors teamed up with Esurance on September 13 for a Green Mob Beautification Project at Fruitvale Elementary School in Oakland. Warriors staff worked alongside more than 30 fourth and fifth-grade students from Fruitvale’s Learning for Life afterschool program. September 12, 2011 - Warriors Backpack Giveaway
The Warriors tipped off their Back to School Initiative on Monday, September 12, with a visit to Lazear Elementary School in Oakland. Warriors broadcaster Jim Barnett and Warrior Girls Casey and Sierra handed out backpacks and other school supplies to the students. August 31, 2011 - Warriors Host Kickball Tournament In Oakland
On August 31, the Warriors hosted a kickball tournament to help Oakland Parks and Recreation close out the 2011 summer season in style. August 25, 2011 - Learning Without Limits At The Oakland Zoo
As part of the Learning Without Limits program, the Warriors treated 50 kids from the Oakland Parks & Recreation Department to a day at the Oakland Zoo. August 23, 2011 - Helping Hands Meal Serving
The Warriors teamed up with Loaves & Fishes Kitchen to serve dinner to those in need on August 23rd in San Jose. All in all, more than 150 meals were served to the men, women and children. July 13, 2011 - Together We Can Court Unveiling
The Warriors teamed up with D.W. Morgan and the Good Tidings Foundation to unveil the newly refurbished Together We Can Basketball Court in West Oakland on July 13. December 22, 2010 - Warriors' Make-A-Wish Holiday Party
The Warriors hosted a special Holiday Party for 20 kids from the Make-A-Wish Foundation and their families on December 22nd. Warrior Girls Kimberly and Sierra joined several players and coaches in spending some quality time with children suffering from various life-threatening illnesses and diseases. October 13, 2010 - David Lee & Good Tidings Court Unveiling
In partnership with the Good Tidings Foundation, the Warriors unveiled the newly refurbished David Lee Basketball Court at El Dorado Elementary School in San Francisco. Warrior Girl Lacy participatced in the event, which marked the 36th Bay Area basketball court that the Warriors and Good Tidings Foundation have refurbished in the past 14 years. October 4, 2010 - Nibbles, Dribbles & Sips 2010
The entire Warriors Girls team mingled with Season Ticket Holders at the Second Annual Nibbles, Dribbles & Sips on November 4. The charitable food and wine event benefited the San Francisco Bay Area chapter of Meals on Wheels and featured more than 70 Bay Area restaurants and wineries. September 24, 2010 - Reaching Out To San Bruno Fire Victims
On September 24th, Warrior Girl Natalie joined Coach Keith Smart and Reggie Williams in visiting San Bruno residents who were affected by the recent explosion and devastating fire. September 21, 2010 - Warriors Read To Achieve Reading Rally
Warrior Girl Michelle was on hand for a Warriors Read To Achieve Reading Rally, presented by Ross Stores, at Berkley Maynard Academy in Oakland on September 21. July 15, 2010 - Warrior Girls Summer Movie Outing
The Warriors treated 45 kids from the Martinez Boys and Girls Club to a viewing of 'Despicable Me' at Brenden Theatres in Concord on July 15. In partnerhip with Esurance, the Warriors hosted Plant a Tree Day on April 1 at Aviation High School in Oakland. The Warriors and Lucky Supermarkets teamed up to fight childhood hunger by hosting a bake sale at a Lucky store in San Ramon on March 14.
