On January 16, Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, Wells Fargo Community Development hosted 11 guests from local nonprofits at their Warriors suite. Guests included many youth representatives involved in community programs promoting non-violence and diversity, in the spirit of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Thunder also paid a visit to the Wells Fargo suite and the Warriors also acknowledged Wells Fargo's welcome to the nonprofits on the arena video board.

Special Guest Included: Rafael Ramos and Neraida Cerna (Kennedy-King Memorial Scholarship in Concord), Victor Villasenor-Valadez and Lisa Bender (Martin Luther King, Jr. Freedom Center in Oakland), Yulanda Do and Loan Su (Girls Inc. of the Island City in Alameda), KC Wachs, Antonio Gomez and Patrick Pavilan (Castro Valley High School), and Sang Saephan and Sengkham Pathemmavong (West Contra Costa Southeast Asian Task Force).
