Warriors Community Foundation
The Warriors Community Foundation is dedicated to making a significant and lasting impact on the lives of underserved youth in the San Francisco Bay Area. The Foundation lives its mission through community grants and innovative partnerships with local nonprofit organizations.
Since purchasing the club in 2010, Joe Lacob and Peter Guber have continued Golden State's longstanding tradition of community involvement. The Warriors Community Foundation, established in 2012 in conjunction with the new ownership group, serves to expand the team's impact locally. Our work is sustained by generous contributions from individuals, foundations and corporate partners.

The Warriors Community Foundation provides financial support for programs and services that benefit underserved youth in the San Francisco Bay Area. Key funding areas include school-based and out-of-school supplemental programs that focus on education, sports and fitness.
The Warriors Community Foundation partners with Good Tidings Foundation to refurbish basketball courts throughout the Bay Area, assisting in the revitalization of local neighborhoods. Each court is resurfaced and receives new backboards, rims, nets, striping and signage. To date, the Warriors have refurbished more than 40 local courts (Zoom in for greater detail):
