As part of the NBA Cares initiative, the Golden State Warriors are once again presenting their Season of Giving throughout the months of November and December. During the Season of Giving, all 15 Warriors players will participate in various holiday events, reaching out to the community and helping to brighten the holiday season for local children and families.

The organization will reach out to more than 5,000 children and their families and provide them with gifts and meals during this time of need. Events include pregame and postgame meet-and-greets at Oracle Arena, basketball clinics, shopping sprees and holiday parties throughout the Bay Area. The Warriors partnered with Lucky Supermarkets, Ross Stores and Kaiser Permanente to purchase the gifts and food during this holiday season.

Throughout the league, the NBA and its players will celebrate the NBA Cares and Season of Giving with charitable efforts that will reach more than 300,000 people.

Over the next five years, the league, players and teams will raise and contribute $100 million for charity, donate more than 1 million hours of hands-on volunteer service to communities around the world, and build more than 100 places where kids can learn and play.

The following is a look at the Warriors events during this holiday season:

Dec. 28 - Warriors Women Season Of Giving
As part of the team's Season of Giving, a group of Warriors Women cooked dinner for families living at the Ronald McDonald House in San Francisco on December 28th. Led by Carol Smart, the wives, girlfriends and mothers of the Warriors players and coaching staff extended a helping hand to terminally ill children and their families.

Dec. 23 - Make-A-Wish Holiday Party
The Warriors Season of Giving continued on December 23rd when Monta Ellis, David Lee, Dorell Wright, Ekpe Udoh, Reggie Williams, Keith Smart and the Warriors hosted a holiday party at the team's practice facility for 20 children from the Make-A-Wish Foundation.

Dec. 20 - David Lee Postgame Meet & Greet
David Lee partnered with the Taylor Family Foundation to adopt terminally ill kids for the holidays. He invited the kids to watch the Warriors-Rockets game from a luxury suite at Oracle Arena and afterward he visited with the group and provided them with Warriors gifts.

Dec. 10 & 20 - Dorell Wright's Winter Wonderland Toy Drive
Warriors forward Dorell Wright teamed up with the Oakland Fire Department to host a holiday toy drive for local children from the the Ronald McDonald House of San Francisco, the Oakland Childrens Hospital and Stanford Childrens Hospital. Warriors fans participated in the toy drive, donating new and unwrapped toys at Warriors home games on December 10th and 20th.

Dec. 20 - Stephen Curry Meet & Greet
Warriors guard Stephen Curry visited with a family of Warriors Season Ticket Holders prior to the Warriors-Rockets game at Oracle Arena. In spirit of the holidays, Stephen provided gifts, signed autographs and posed for photos, providing a wonderful holiday experience that this group of Season Ticket Holders won't soon forget.

Dec. 16 - Monta Ellis & Stephen Curry Feed The Children Event
The Warriors Season of Giving continued on December 16th with Monta Ellis and Stephen Curry teaming up with international hunger relief organization Feed The Children to distribute boxes of food for 800 Bay Area families in need at Allen Temple Baptist Church in Oakland.

Dec. 20 - Lou Amundson Adopts Two Families For The Holidays
Warriors forward Lou Amundson adopted two Bay Area families for the holidays. The families, who had fallen on hard times as of late, were invited to the Warriors-Rockets game by Lou, and before the game began the first-year Warrior, accompanied by his family, met with the group and provided everyone with gifts.

Dec. 15 - Dorell Wright Hosts Holiday Party For Five Families
Warriors forward Dorell Wright adopted five local single-mother families and hosted a holiday party for them at Miss Pearls Jam House on December 15. The first-year Warrior handed out gifts to each of the family members in attendance and provided them with a holiday experience that they wont soon forget.

Dec. 10 - Monta Ellis Meet & Greet
Following the Warriors-Heat game on December 10th, Monta Ellis visited with more than 100 kids from the San Francisco Boys & Girls Club. As part of Season of Giving, he invited the kids to the game, wished them happy holidays and encouraged them to work hard in school and to always strive to achieve their goals.

Dec. 3 - Reggie Williams & Ross Stores Host Reading Time Out
In partnership with Ross Stores, the Warriors hosted a Reading Time Out with Reggie Williams on December 3rd. The second-year Warriors player read books to more than 80 kids at the Leonard J. Meltzer Clubhouse, and some had the opportunity to assist in the reading.

Dec. 1 - Warriors Players Visit Kids At Kaiser Permanente
On December 1st, Warriors players Andris Biedrins, Vladimir Radmanovic and Ekpe Udoh made a special visit to surprise ill children at Kaiser Permanente in Oakland. The players arrived at the hospital with gifts in-hand and immediately began visiting all 35 of the children on the 10th floor.

Nov. 30 - Reggie Williams And Dan Gadzuric Meet & Greets
Reggie Williams and Dan Gadzuric visited with 50 Bay Area kids following the Warriors-Spurs game on November 30. After inviting the kids to enjoy the game from their player ticket sections, the players surprised the groups with holiday gifts afterward.

Nov. 29 - Vladimir Radmanovic School Visit
Warriors forward Vladimir Radmanovic made a surprise visit to Saints Peter & Paul Salesian School in San Francisco on November 29. During the event, Radmanovic answered questions from the 275 students on hand at the assembly and conducted a basketball clinic.

Nov. 22 - Charlie Bell And Ekpe Udoh Meet & Greets
Following the Warriors-Nuggets game at Oracle Arena on November 22, Warriors players Charlie Bell and Ekpe Udoh hosted a Thanksgiving Meet and Greet with local kids. Each player invited their respective group to the game and provided gifts and autographs afterward for each of the kids.

Nov. 17 - Warriors & Lucky Supermarkets Food Distribution
The Warriors teamed up with Lucky Supermarkets for a Thanksgiving Food Distribution at a Lucky store in Oakland on November 17. Warriors players and coaches filled boxes with all of the trimmings necessary for a Thanksgiving feast for more than 300 Bay Area families.

Nov. 17 - Warriors Players Purchase Tickets For Local Youth
For the 2010-11 season, all 15 Warriors players are taking part in the teams Player Ticket Section program, donating tickets for every Warriors home game to local Bay Area youth organizations. The donations will make it possible for 13,000 youngsters to experience Warriors basketball at Oracle Arena.
