Read to Achieve Pledge

Reading is fun and books are cool too,
I will read a book daily to learn something new.

I will learn different words and I will listen in school,
When teachers read stories and share reading rules.

I will practice my skills in every way
Reading is something I will do every day.

Reading offers great adventures to me,
Reading will help me be the best I can be.

Reading is one of the most powerful tools - if not the most powerful tool - that we can provide a child. Everything from future school subjects to basic life lessons will build upon this one vital skill. Regardless of whether you are a parent or teacher, the amount of time you spend reading with a child today will have unlimited benefits tomorrow.

To help achieve these benefits, the Golden State Warriors Read to Achieve program has partnered with Ross Dress For Less to bring you a fun-filled reading flashcards. It's just one of the many methods in which the Warriors are encouraging lifelong reading through the NBA's Read to Achieve program.
