Reading is fun and books are cool too,
I will read a book daily to learn something new.
I will learn different words and I will listen in school,
When teachers read stories and share reading rules.
I will practice my skills in every way

The Warriors Read to Achieve Reading Program, which enters its 14th season, is the Warriors' highly acclaimed child literacy program conducted in partnership with Bay Area elementary & middle schools, public library systems and local youth agencies. 
The program is sponsored by Ross Stores, Inc. In conjunction with the NBA's league-wide Read to Achieve initiative, Warriors players bring the joy of reading year-round to Bay Area children through monthly Reading Time Outs, Read to Achieve Week, Reading & Learning Centers and other exciting literacy activities. Read To Achieve expands each year and now reaches thousands throughout the Bay Area.
