2010 Summer Camps Recap


Warriors Basketball Camp
The 11th summer of Warriors Basketball Camp has proved to be one of the most exciting seasons in the history of the program. With top-of-the-line instruction, individual attention to each camper and several surprise visits from current and former players and coaches, Warriors Basketball Camp has lived up to its reputation as the most complete and comprehensive camp experience in Northern California. Among the many highlights of the summer were visits from players Stephen Curry, Jeremy Lin, Reggie Williams, Ekpe Udoh and Charlie Bell, Coach Stephen Silas and Special Assistant Calbert Cheaney.

August 9-13, 2010 - SESSION XIV
Ohlone College, Fremont
Kids ages 7 to 15 attended the camp, which focused on skill development, the importance of fundamentals and the development of a healthy team attitude. In addition, campers took part in a variety of competitions and fundamental drill work.

August 9-13, 2010 - HIGH POTENTIAL II
Iron Horse Middle School, San Ramon
An appearance from Warriors Assistant Coach Keith Smart highlighted this session of Warriors Basketball Camp. Held for middle school and high school kids ages 11 to 17, this competitive camp was geared toward developing the competitive fire that is needed to compete at the next level.
