Warriors Tip Off "15 Plays For The Holidays" Campaign With Lucky Supermarket Shopping Spree
Each of the 15 Warriors Players Give Back During the Holiday Season

The Golden State Warriors are tipping off their 15 Plays for the Holidays community outreach initiative this week as part of the NBA’s Season of Giving with the Shop with a Warrior event, the team announced today. The Warriors are teaming up to help brighten the lives of local families and youth with 15 Plays for the Holidays where each of the Warriors 15 players will participate in at least one event during the holiday season to help those in need in the community. To tip off the initiative, the Warriors will provide five families in need with a Lucky shopping spree this afternoon.

Warriors players Festus Ezeli, Draymond Green, Richard Jefferson, Carl Landry and Assistant Coach Michael Malone are teaming up for this first event where they will each partner with a family and go on a shopping spree at Lucky to fulfill their grocery needs to give the family the opportunity to enjoy a traditional Thanksgiving meal together.

The Warriors will hold additional 15 Plays for the Holidays events throughout the months of November and December such as player holiday meet and greets, Bay Area school visits, toy drives for youth in the community, food serving at homeless shelters, and more. 15 Plays for the Holidays will include a minimum 15 events with each Warriors player participating in at least one event throughout the campaign.

The Warriors have also introduced their popular Holiday Hoops ticket packages. These four game plans, presented by Jamba Juice®, feature marquee match-ups against the Los Angeles Lakers, Miami Heat, and Boston Celtics.
