Troy Murphy Answers Your Questions
I just wanted to know what is the biggest change from going from high school and college ball to the pros. I would really appreciate it if you hit back up because I'm a high school player myself.
your biggest and truest fan
big mike
The biggest change has been the girls (laughs). No really, the biggest change has been the size and speed of the guys. The quickness has continually grown and there are just bigger guys from high school to college and from college to pros. They are also all just better athletes.
Just wondering, what kind of practical jokes or hazing the veterans have pulled on you this season?
David Neville
Nothing really. Everybody always asks me that question. Or do you have to buy donuts? I don’t even know where to get donuts!!!
At the start of the season you got in a few tangles, I was wondering if you hold grudges over the people you tangle with or are you a forgive and forget guy?
Mike, Oakley
Go Irish!!!
I don’t forgive and forget, but I sure don’t hold grudges. I just try and play hard everyday and try not to take any garbage
Troy, what cd's are playing in your super-clean Yukon?
Rick J.
I’ve got some Linkin Park in there, Papa Roach and Stained. That’s about it.
I read somewhere that you have been working out with Chris Mullin. What sort of things has he taught you?
Chris A.
Oakland
He has just taught me to have fun out there. Have a good time playing basketball and just play my game.
The last few weeks it looks like you’ve been struggling with your shot a little bit, although the last two games it looks like you’re coming out of it. Do you feel like you’ve hit that rookie wall yet?
Warriors Mike from Walnut Creek
I feel like I did hit it. I was having a tough time there, but the last couple I feel like I’m coming out of it. I just stayed with it and I’m feeling good.
