Senior Director, Youth Basketball
Now in his 18th year with the Golden State Warriors, Addiego has been spearheading the Warriors youth basketball efforts since their inception in 2000. In that time, Warriors Basketball Camp and the Junior Warriors Basketball League have grown into one of the largest youth basketball programs in the NBA with more than 200,000 participants from all over the world.
In addition to directing hundreds of sessions of Warriors Basketball Camp, Addiego also served as the director of following high-profile camps - Run TMC Fantasy Camp (featuring Chris Mullin, Mitch Richmond and Tim Hardaway); Stephen Curry Overnight Camp and Splash Brothers Fantasy Basketball Clinic (featuring Stephen & Dell Curry and Klay & Mychal Thompson). Addiego and his staff are also responsible for conducting clinics, Warrior 4 A Day and community basketball events for many of the Warriors corporate partners and clients.
Addiego played collegiately at San Francisco State University, where he was a three-year starter and co-captain for the Gators. While at SFSU, he received his bachelor's degree in Recreation and Leisure Studies. His youth coaching experience includes a wide variety of levels including high school, CYO, YMCA and more.
Manager, Youth Basketball
A 10-year member of the Warriors youth basketball department, Melendez brings a wealth of experience as it relates to youth basketball. Prior to joining the Warriors, Melendez served five years as the youth sports coordinator for the City of Hercules, where he was a league director for the Junior Warriors Basketball League. He first joined the Warriors Basketball Camp staff in 2001 as a lead coach/counselor. In all, Melendez has been coaching youth basketball for the past 19 years including the past six years at the high school level with Head-Royce School in Oakland where he spent the past two seasons as the head varsity boys coach.
Manager, Youth Basketball
In his sixth year as a full-time member of the Warriors youth basketball department, Clarfield brings a well-rounded, organized approach to teaching the game of basketball. Prior to being named full-time, Clarfield served as an intern in youth basketball for two years. He joined the Warriors after completing his degree in Sociology with a minor in Sports Management at UC Santa Barbara in 2007. While attending Santa Barbara, he assisted with recruiting and was the team manager for the men’s basketball team for two seasons.
Assistant, Youth Basketball
Now in his second year as a full-time member of the Warriors youth basketball department, Rivera joined the Warriors Basketball Camp staff after completing his high school career at De La Salle HS, Concord in 2008. An All-State player in high school, Rivera went on to play junior college basketball at Citrus College in Southern California where he again received All-State honors. He played one year of Division I basketball at the University of Pacific before transferring to Cal State San Marcos where he was an NAIA All-American and one of the top three point shooters in the country.
Program Assistant, Youth Basketball
Currently in her first year as a full-time member of the Warriors youth basketball department, Antonio joined the staff after completing her bachelor’s degree in business administration with an emphasis in sports, entertainment, and hospitality management from California State University Dominguez Hills. Since then, she has received her master’s degree in Physical Education with an emphasis in coaching from Ball State University. She served as an intern in the youth camps department for three years. Antonio also worked part-time with the game operations department for the Golden State Warriors before joining our staff full-time.
Assistant, Youth Basketball
Also in his first year as a full-time member of the Warriors youth basketball department, Moor joined the Warriors Basketball Camp staff after completing his high school career at St. Mary’s HS, Berkeley in 2009. An all-state player in high school, Moor went on to play for four years at San Jose State University, where he graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in communication studies. He currently is completing his master’s degree from San Jose State University in Counseling. Moor served as a part-time camp coach for six years and also worked with the game operations and basketball operations department for the Golden State Warriors before joining our staff full-time.
All members of the Warriors Basketball Camp coaching staff are licensed USA Basketball youth coaches.
