His football playing career came to an end in middle school, but Andre Iguodala is still a big fan of the game. And this past Sunday, he attended the 49ers-Vikings preseason game at Candlestick Park in San Francisco. Although just about all NFL teams play their home games closer to Iguodala's hometown of Springfield, Ill., the soon-to-be first-year Warriors player grew up a Niners fan.
Fast forward a few decades and there he was at Candlestick, playing with his son in the end zone and schmoozing with Colin Kaepernick and Jim Harbaugh. In addition, he took over the @49ers Twitter handle along with model Marisa Miller. Get a behind-the-scenes look at Iguodala's Niners experience in the video below and check out some of the social buzz created by his and Miller's @49ers takeover.
