Over the past week, we have done our best to keep you updated on the ever-evolving playoff picture in the Western Conference. But if you are only concerned with the Warriors’ playoff fortunes, then you might want to pay attention to the four answers in the questions below.

Where will the Warriors be seeded in the NBA Playoffs?
The short answer is six or seven. The Warriors (46-35) currently occupy the sixth spot in the Western Conference, one game ahead of the Houston Rockets (45-36). The Dubs can lock up the sixth seed with either a win in Portland on Wednesday or a loss by Houston in Los Angeles. However, Golden State will fall to the seventh seed if they lose in Portland AND the Rockets beat the Lakers on Wednesday. Both the Warriors-Trail Blazers game and the Rockets-Lakers matchup are scheduled to tip off at 7:30 p.m., so expect there to be a lot of scoreboard watching around the NBA on Wednesday night.

Who will be the Warriors’ opponent in the first round of the NBA Playoffs?
The answer to that question depends on what happens in several other NBA games, most of which do not involve the Warriors. Currently, the Warriors are slated to face the Denver Nuggets in the first round of the NBA Playoffs, but other possible scenarios have Golden State matching up with the Clippers and Spurs in the first round. See below for what needs to happen for each of these scenarios to take effect.

If the Warriors play the Nuggets in the first round, then this will have had to happen …
The Warriors win their season finale or the Rockets lose their season finale.
The Nuggets win their season finale against the Bucks or the Clippers lose at Sacramento on Wednesday.
If the Warriors play the Clippers in the first round, then this will have had to happen …
The Warriors win their season finale or the Rockets lose their season finale.
The Nuggets lose their season finale against the Bucks AND the Clippers win at Sacramento on Wednesday.
If the Warriors play the Spurs in the first round, then this will have had to happen …
The Warriors lose their season finale AND the Rockets win their season finale.

When will the Warriors’ playoff schedule be released?
The entire NBA Playoff schedule will be announced following the conclusion of Wednesday’s slate of games (three games have a scheduled tipoff time of 7:30 p.m.). Some first round playoff series will begin as early as Saturday, April 20, but we will have to wait until late Wednesday night to learn of dates, times and broadcast information for specific series.
