Warriors center Andrew Bogut finished 10th in NBA Defensive Player of the Year voting, and it’s pretty safe to say that he would have been a few spots higher on that list if he didn’t miss so much time due to injury. When he was in action, Bogut was the ultimate paint protector, ranking sixth in the NBA in blocks (1.8 bpg) and tied for 10th in rebounding (10.0 rpg). In fact, he was the first player in team history to average at least 10 rebounds per game while shooting 60 percent from the field. Unfortunately for Bogut and the Warriors, a fractured rib suffered late in the regular season caused him to sit out the team’s first round playoff series against the Clippers.
